Who got you into airsoft, and are they still playing?

When working for a food company, used to deal with a guy from pest control company. He kept on about giving it a try, so went along to stop him asking. 7 or 8 years later, I'm still playing and he's long been out of it

Like a thousand years ago when I was a yoof. I remember getting the "Battle Orders" catalogue and seeing the very first versions. Took a few lifetimes to get to playing regular and collect a totally unnecessary amount of kit. But here we are 🤷‍♂️

I was 6 when my oldest brother brought home an airsoft replica, AA battery powered, and then the rest of my younger siblings and I got sucked into it. It's been 17 years now. I don't think any of my brothers play still.
