Terms of Services

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Airsoft.Bio (https://airsoft.bio), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. What Airsoft.Bio is

Airsoft.Bio is a community platform for airsoft players. It allows you to build a player profile, discover other players, communicate via direct messages, create and join teams, log game days, and share your loadouts and kit. The platform is designed for the UK airsoft community.

3. Your account

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. One account per person. Automated or bulk account creation is not permitted.

Age requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use Airsoft.Bio. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent to use the platform. We may restrict access to certain features for users we believe to be under 18, in order to comply with our safety obligations.

We reserve the right to introduce age assurance measures in the future to verify user ages.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you post, including profile information, loadout descriptions, game day logs, team information, and images. By posting content on Airsoft.Bio, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, store, and distribute it as part of the platform's normal operation (for example, on your profile page, in search results, in the player directory, and in activity feeds).

You may remove your content at any time by deleting it from your profile or by deleting your account.

5. Prohibited content

You agree not to post, share, or send content that falls into any of the following categories. This applies to all areas of the platform including profiles, bios, loadout descriptions, team pages, images, direct messages, feed posts, and feature requests.

Illegal content. Any content that amounts to a criminal offence under UK law, including but not limited to:

  • Terrorism content, including material that promotes, encourages, or glorifies terrorism or supports proscribed organisations
  • Child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA) material, including grooming behaviour, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any sexual communication with or about a child
  • Hate speech and hate offences based on race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity, or other protected characteristics
  • Harassment, stalking, threats of violence, and abuse directed at any individual
  • Controlling or coercive behaviour
  • Intimate image abuse, including sharing intimate images without consent
  • Fraud, scams, and financial deception
  • Content promoting or facilitating the supply of illegal drugs or psychoactive substances
  • Content promoting illegal sale, modification, or use of firearms or weapons (see section 6 for airsoft-specific rules)
  • Content encouraging or assisting suicide or serious self-harm
  • Content facilitating human trafficking or unlawful immigration
  • Extreme pornographic material
  • Animal cruelty content

Other prohibited content:

  • Spam, malware, phishing, or deceptive links
  • Impersonation of another person or organisation
  • Content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
  • Pornographic or sexually explicit material
  • Content designed to mislead other users about the nature of the platform or its content

6. Airsoft content rules

Airsoft.Bio is built for the airsoft community. Content featuring Realistic Imitation Firearms (RIFs), loadouts, game day scenarios, and tactical gear is welcome and expected. However, all airsoft content must comply with the following:

  • Do not promote, encourage, or depict the illegal use of airsoft equipment or RIFs
  • Do not promote illegal modification of airsoft equipment (for example, modifications that would cause a RIF to exceed legal power limits or convert it to fire live ammunition)
  • Do not use images of RIFs in a context that could reasonably be interpreted as a real-world threat or act of intimidation
  • Game day scenario content (including simulated hostage scenarios, team games, and milsim events) should be presented in a clear sporting context. Where possible, include context such as the site name, event type, or game scenario description
  • Do not encourage unsafe handling, transport, or public display of airsoft equipment

Airsoft.Bio is not a marketplace. The sale of RIFs or any other goods is not currently permitted on the platform.

7. Direct messages

Direct messages on Airsoft.Bio are private, text-only conversations between two users. The same rules that apply to public content also apply to DMs. You may not use DMs to harass, threaten, defraud, groom, or send illegal content to another user.

We do not proactively monitor the content of DMs. However, if a message is reported to us by a recipient, we will review it and take action where it breaches these terms or constitutes illegal content.

New accounts may be subject to temporary restrictions on messaging, including limits on the number of new conversations that can be started per day and a short waiting period before DMs can be initiated. These restrictions exist to reduce the risk of abuse and spam.

8. Reporting content and users

If you encounter content or behaviour on Airsoft.Bio that you believe breaches these terms or is illegal, you can report it using the report function available throughout the platform, including on profiles, images, DMs, teams, and feed content.

When you submit a report, we will review it and take appropriate action, which may include removing content, issuing a warning, restricting account features, or suspending or terminating the account. We aim to review reports within 48 hours.

We may preserve reported content and associated metadata for the purpose of moderation, record-keeping, and where necessary, referral to law enforcement.

9. Complaints procedure

If you are unhappy with a moderation decision or believe we have not handled a report appropriately, you can submit a complaint by contacting us at the address listed in section 16. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond within 14 days.

If your complaint relates to content that has been removed, we will explain the reason for removal and give you the opportunity to appeal.

If your complaint relates to content that has not been removed after you reported it, we will explain why we determined that the content did not breach our terms.

10. How we protect users from illegal content

In accordance with our obligations under the Online Safety Act 2023, we take the following steps to protect users from illegal content:

  • We maintain a risk assessment identifying the types of illegal content that could appear on the platform, the likelihood and impact of each, and the measures we have in place to address them
  • We provide reporting tools across all areas of the platform so users can flag illegal content quickly
  • We review reported content and take action to remove illegal content as quickly as possible
  • We maintain records of reports received, moderation decisions made, and actions taken
  • We may refer content to law enforcement where we have reasonable grounds to believe it constitutes a criminal offence, particularly in relation to CSEA, terrorism, or threats to life
  • We restrict certain platform features for new accounts to reduce the risk of abuse
  • We publish Community Guidelines that set clear expectations for user behaviour
  • We keep these measures under review and update our risk assessment at least annually

11. Children's safety

Although Airsoft.Bio is primarily used by adults, we recognise that some users may be under 18. We take the following steps to protect younger users:

  • DMs are text-only with no image sharing
  • New accounts are subject to messaging restrictions
  • Reporting and blocking tools are available throughout the platform
  • Content that sexualises, grooms, or targets minors will be removed immediately and may be referred to law enforcement
  • We keep our approach to children's safety under review and may introduce additional measures, including age assurance, as the platform develops

12. Enforcement

If you breach these terms, we may take one or more of the following actions at our discretion:

  • Issue a warning
  • Remove the content in question
  • Restrict your access to certain features (for example, DMs)
  • Temporarily suspend your account
  • Permanently terminate your account

For serious breaches, particularly those involving illegal content, CSEA, or threats to safety, we may take immediate action without prior warning and may refer the matter to law enforcement.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. On deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Disclaimers

Airsoft.Bio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, data accuracy, or that the platform will meet your specific requirements. We are not responsible for the conduct of other users on the platform.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Airsoft.Bio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

16. Contact

If you have questions about these terms, need to report a concern, or wish to submit a complaint, contact us at:

For urgent safety concerns, including content involving child exploitation or threats to life, please also use the in-platform reporting tools so that the content can be actioned as quickly as possible.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
