Community Guidelines
Last updated: April 2026
Airsoft.Bio is built for the airsoft community. These guidelines exist to keep our community safe, welcoming, and useful for everyone. They apply across all Airsoft.Bio spaces including but not limited to the platform itself, social network groups/servers/subs, and any live events we host or attend. Where our guidelines apply alongside another venue's rules (such as a Discord server's terms of service or an airsoft site's safety rules), both apply. Our guidelines do not replace theirs, and theirs do not replace ours.
Breaking these guidelines in any Airsoft.Bio space may result in content removal, account restrictions, or a permanent ban from the platform depending on the severity.
The short version
Be a decent human. Represent the airsoft community well. Keep it legal. Report anything that feels wrong.
Content that is never allowed
The following will be removed immediately. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.
Illegal content of any kind. This includes terrorism content, child sexual exploitation or abuse material, content that grooms or sexually targets minors, hate speech targeting race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or gender identity, threats of violence, harassment, stalking, fraud, content promoting illegal drugs, and content encouraging suicide or self-harm.
Sexual or pornographic content. Airsoft.Bio is not that kind of platform.
Doxxing. Do not share another person's private information (real name, address, phone number, workplace) without their consent.
Spam and scams. No fake profiles, phishing links, or deceptive content.
Airsoft content
This is an airsoft platform. Images and descriptions of RIFs, tactical gear, loadouts, and game day scenarios are welcome. That said, there are some lines.
What's fine:
- Loadout photos, gear reviews, and kit showcases
- Game day photos and scenario descriptions
- Team photos in full gear
- Skirmish and milsim event content
- Discussing airsoft equipment, upgrades, and builds (within legal limits)
What's not fine:
- Presenting RIF content in a way that could be mistaken for a real-world threat or act of violence
- Encouraging illegal use, transport, or public display of airsoft equipment
- Promoting modifications that would make a RIF exceed legal power limits or convert it to fire live ammunition
- Selling or advertising the sale of RIFs or any other goods (the marketplace is not yet available)
A good rule of thumb: If someone with no airsoft knowledge saw your post, would they understand it's about a sport? If the answer is "probably not", add context or reconsider the post.
Direct messages
DMs are for connecting with other players, not for harassment, threats, or unwanted contact. The same rules that apply to public content apply in DMs.
If someone asks you to stop messaging them, stop. If someone blocks you, respect it.
New accounts may have temporary limits on how many new conversations they can start per day. This is a safety measure, not a punishment.
Reporting
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it. You can report profiles, images, DMs, team pages, and feed content using the report button. You do not need to be certain something is illegal to report it. If it feels wrong, flag it and we will review it.
We take every report seriously. We aim to review reports within 48 hours. When we act on a report, the reporter will not be identified to the person being reported.
Misusing the report function (for example, repeatedly reporting someone's content to harass them) is itself a violation of these guidelines.
What happens when you break the rules
Depending on the severity of the breach:
- First offence (minor): We may remove the content and let you know why.
- Repeated or moderate offences: We may restrict your access to features like DMs or feed posting, either temporarily or permanently.
- Serious offences: Your account may be suspended or permanently terminated without warning. This includes any content involving child exploitation, terrorism, credible threats of violence, or other serious illegal content.
- Criminal content: Where we have reasonable grounds to believe content constitutes a criminal offence, we may report it to law enforcement.
A note about airsoft and context
We know that airsoft is a sport involving realistic replica firearms. We know that game day photos can look intense to outsiders. We are not going to police every photo of someone in full gear holding a RIF. That would defeat the purpose of the platform.
What we are going to do is make sure the platform cannot be used to promote real violence, threaten people, or put anyone at risk. The context matters. A photo from a milsim event with your team is fine. The same photo with a caption implying real-world violence is not.
When in doubt, add context. Tag your site. Mention the event. Make it obvious this is sport.
Your safety tools
You have tools to protect yourself on Airsoft.Bio:
- Block any user to prevent them from messaging you or viewing your profile
- Report any content or user that concerns you
- Control your visibility through your profile privacy settings
