Aegis-9, a classified surveillance satellite carrying experimental neurochemical agents, crashes in the Golden Triangle jungle at 03:47, August 2026. Three factions converge on the wreckage. Task Force Seahorse: Council-sanctioned marine/special-ops unit. Mission: locate wreckage, secure payload, eliminate threats. Kraken Corp: Government-linked contractor officially recovering the payload, unofficially selling access to black-market buyers and paramilitaries. Rebels of Dham Lek: Ex-insurgents and mountain clans who view the crash as a divine "sky-fang" omen signaling judgment or cleansing. Kao Lang villagers: Neutral, unarmed, hold cultural/land knowledge and awareness of spreading illness near the crash site. May aid factions if respected. Setting: dense jungle, booby traps, chemical exposure risk, unstable alliances, active combat between all factions.
