Alright lizards, I’m Steven — former Royal Artillery, spent 7 years launching very expensive missiles at grid squares and people via gMLRS courtesy of Her Majesty. Did a tour of Afghanistan, learned valuable life skills like surviving on caffeine, nicotine, and blind optimism while being shouted at by blokes built like oak trees. Skillset’s a mixed bag of controlled chaos really — comms, medical, counter IED and infantry skills solid enough that I still judge people for their weapon handling in video games. Nowadays I’m a Paramedic, which is basically like the Army but with less cam cream and more paperwork. Outside of work I’m into tactical shooters, dark humour, and pretending my knees don’t sound like a microwave popcorn bag every time I stand up. Looking forward to getting stuck in with you lot — and inevitably hearing someone say “this’ll be a quick op” moments before everything goes catastrophically sideways.
