What's your team's name and how'd you land on it?

'The Filthy Pirates'. I started, originally, playing airsoft with my dad & I still play with him every month to this day. We're both big fans of a book series called 'Expeditionary Force' by Craig Alanson. In that book, there's a sentient AI called 'Skippy' who calls the humans 'Filthy Monkeys', and then the group calls themselves 'The Merry Band of Pirates'. So we merged the two! The team now consists of me (Callsign Kilo), my dad (Callsign Fubar), and 3 of our friends Callsign Breaker, Callsign Nelo, and our friend Tom (callsign TBD). We're a bit of a mixed bunch when it comes to kit, I (Kilo) LARP as SBS/SAS, my dad (Fubar) LARPs as SEAL Team 6, Tom runs around in a white vest, and shorts, with an AK, and Breaker cosplays a somalian pirate with an upgraded SVD. Definitely not a competitive team, by any standard, but we have a great laugh with some great people. (We also class my (Kilo)'s partner (Kali) and Breaker's partner (Sarah) as honorary members of The Filthy Pirates).

Not a team name but my call sign, DC-1, my late father suggested it. It stands for Delta Comms 1, which is the callsign of a Police Dog Unit here in New Zealand. When I was thinking of a callsign when I started out, I was at his place listening to the scanner and the call came out "Delta Comms One", and he suggested that, it was a bit of a mouthful so i shortened it and landed on DC-1
