Grenzbattalion Ost

Grenzbatallion Ost is an airsoft field in Veltheim (Osterwieck, Saxony-Anhalt) in the Harz, opened in 2026 in a former NVA (East German army) border-post barracks. Play covers woodland plus a four-storey building with a dark cellar, so it suits both long-range and CQB games. Regular Saturday game days run 9:30-17:00 (arrival 9:30-10:00, pay cash on site) and are listed on Eventbrite and the ASVZ. Around 60-70 players per game day.
