Paintball Arena

Paintball Arena is an outdoor activity venue in the De Plas–Kelchterhoef recreation area at Houthalen-Helchteren in Limburg, Belgium, run by Paintball Arena BV. Alongside paintball, kids' paintball, archery tag, lasershooting and GellyBall, it hosts airsoft across four outdoor fields covering more than 30,000 m². Airsoft sessions last up to four hours. Players can bring their own gear (€25) or hire a rental package (€30 or €40). The minimum age is 14; players aged 14 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult, and under-18s must wear a full-face mask. Open Airsoft Day Ops events combine three fields into a 23,000 m² playing area for up to 80 players, with free HPA refills during events (otherwise €1 per tank). Visitors park in the main De Plas car park and walk five to ten minutes around the lake to the field, as cars cannot drive to the site; on event days a shuttle carries gear. Because a public path runs alongside the field, replicas must be carried in a closed bag. Snacks such as fries and frikandel are sold on site.
