We recruit slowly and we would rather say no than carry someone who does not fit. The process is deliberately informal, and it is the same for everyone: Get in touch. Message us on Instagram and tell us where you play and how long you have been playing. You do not need to write an application. Come and play with us as a guest. Usually a woodland walk-on, on a date that suits you. You keep to your own kit and your own booking; we just play on the same side and see how it goes. Do it again, at a different Site. One good day is not much to judge anyone on, in either direction. The second is usually somewhere quite unlike the first. We talk it over as a Team, and we tell you either way. If it is a no, you will get a straight answer rather than silence. What we care about is calling your hits, turning up when you said you would, and being someone the rest of us want to spend a wet Sunday with. We do not care what you spent on your kit or how long you have been playing.
